Giovanni Tartaglia Polcini is an ordinary magistrate. Legal Advisor to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs he is also a University Professor of Anti-mafia Law and Legislation. He is the author of numerous monographic writings and articles published in national and international legal journals. He is the scientific lead figure for numerous programmes as well as for international technical assistance work, including the Plan de Apoyo all’ESCA (Italian security strategy in Central America).
He is the coordinator in the Italian-Russian study group for the fight against drug trafficking, the Italian delegate to the G20 anti-corruption, and to the Wgb of Oecd. He is in charge of the Anti-Corruption Observatory of the Administrative Gazette of the Italian Republic and of Rivista 231 and is the coordinator of the third pillar of the Euro-Latin American EL PacCto programme for combating transnational organised crime.
