Since 2006 she has been Full Professor in International Law at the University of Verona, Law Department, and she holds courses in EU Law, EU Family Law (Advanced EU Law) and International Protection of Human Rights (Advanced International Law). At the same University she is Coordinator of the Ph.D. Programme in European and International Legal Studies and Director of the European Documentation Centre.
Her main areas of research cover both issues of EU law, from institutional to sectoral aspects, and private and procedural international law, with particular regard to the protection of fundamental rights and international relations.
She is committed to several projects regarding EU family law co-funded by the European Union under the Justice Programme 2014-2020, as well as at national and local level with projects on creative industries.
She has published extensively in relation to various issues of EU law and private international law and international protection of human rights.
She has also a vast experience as speaker at conferences and seminars, both at national and international venues, as well as courses managed by Bar Associations, Judges’ Associations and other training organisations.
She has been a qualified lawyer in European and International Law at the Bar Association of Milan since 1996.
